Great literature merit badges
Wouldn’t it be awesome if, after reading a great book, you could show the world that you’d finished the whole thing by adding a merit badge to your reader scout sash? Wouldn’t it?

Coming soon: merit badges for Infinite Jest and more.
Update September 19th: A merit badge for Infinite Jest:
My wife wisely pointed out that my earlier Odyssey merit badge could have been for any number of books. So, here is a newer version of The Odyssey‘s merit badge:
Update November 6th: New merit badges, and any others I create in the future, can be found here: Great literature merit badges.

Why thank you, Necromancer and Eyal Sivan!
Actually, I’m sticking it to Clay Shirky, who says “… no one reads War and Peace. It’s too long, and not so interesting.”
I haven’t read War and Peace yet, but I’m going to just to spite him.
